ICO-THANE 50
ICO-THANE 50 is a medium-soft, but more flexible, light-fast polyester-based aqueous aliphatic polyurethane dispersion compound. Applied on a rope or twine it will give a very smooth touch.
| Application | ICO-THANE 50 is a PU based dispersion which needs to be properly dried and cured to form a fully polymerized film. ICO-THANE 50 may be used without modification by spray, dip or lick-roll methods, to give a coating on the strands or rope. Recommended thickeners may be added for knife-over-roll or similar methods of application Indications for added weight of the dispersion to the fiber:

| Characteristics | ICO-THANE 50 can be mixed with any other non-ionic emulsions and liquid pigments (ICO-PRINT range). ICO-THANE 50 has outstanding abrasion and wear resistance when applied on ropes. It gives a medium hard, highly extensible, tough film. It gives a high clarity, dry film which do not discolor on exposure to day light. |
| Packaging | ICO-THANE 50 is available in ± 25 kg, ± 200 kg disposable PE drums or in disposable IBC’s of 1 ton. |
| Storage | Stored in SEALED CONDITIONS, at ambient temperature (5°-30° C), ICO-THANE 50 is at least 6 months stable. |
